2024 Conference - Aquatic Certification


Hello Alaska Pool People! 

I will also be offering courses at this year's Alaska Recreation and Parks Association Conference happening in Wrangell, AK in September! You do not have to attend the conference to participate in the course, but the conference is a lot of fun and you probably wouldn’t regret signing up for it!
  
My classes are limited to 6 participants per class for Lifeguarding Instructor and Lifeguarding Instructor Recertification courses. The host facilities have first dibs on the number of seats they need for the course. After they’ve confirmed their enrollments, I will then confirm additional enrollments based off of who submitted their online forms first. 
 

Please also checkout my main information pages for any questions regarding the course prerequisites. I try to put all the information on my website for easy access. 
 
If you or someone in your facilities wants to take the Lifeguarding Instructor course but does not have a valid lifeguarding certification, you can still participate in the course if you agree to the additional requirements for the Lifeguarding Instructor Basic-Level Lifeguarding Certification. < This also applies to people doing the LGI Recertification course if they want to renew their base level lifeguarding certification at the same time as the recertification course. Just indicate that in your online submission form so I can plan for it.
