The ARPA Annual Conference is the premier education and networking event for Alaska’s parks and recreation professionals. Each year this event brings together the passionate Alaskan parks and recreation community to exchange ideas, learn from each other, network with other communities and become better together. This is the place to go for inspirational education sessions and energetic networking opportunities with some of the top leaders in the profession.

Sessions are 60-90 minutes and can be focused on one of the following tracks.

  • Equity and Inclusion
  • Health and Wellness
  • Leadership and Personnel Management
  • Planning, Design, and Maintenance

As parks & recreation professionals in Alaska, we have a wealth of information and practical experience that NEEDS to be shared with each other, and the Annual Conference is one of the best ways to do that, BUT WE NEED YOU!

Submit your proposal and, if accepted, you will receive $100 off of Conference Registration. If you are selected to present two or more sessions, you will receive a full conference registration for free (travel, lodging, food, etc. not included).
