NRPA-Certified Playground Safety Inspection Course. Must register for the course and test!
 
The Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification program is the most comprehensive training program on playground hazard identification and risk management methods offered nationwide. By becoming a CPSI, you will learn how to identify hazards on public playgrounds and playground equipment, rank those hazards according to injury potential, and apply that knowledge, as well as how to establish a playground safety program.

In-person Course and Exam
The CPSI In-person Course is a two-day training conducted by CPSI instructors, with the proctored paper/pencil examination hosted on the morning of day three.

CPSI In-person Course: This course provides in-depth analysis of ASTM standards related to playground safety focused on the process of safety inspection from design, through audit and inspection, to maintenance and risk management practices. 
 
Paper/Pencil Examination: Registered participants will complete the paper/pencil examination on the morning of Day 3. Exam results are provided approximately 4-6 weeks following the examination administration. (*Now available in Latin American Spanish upon request.)
