Session Proposal - ARPA 2019 - A Time for Renewal!

Submission Deadline: FRIDAY AUGUST 16, 2019

Our profession, our state, and our organization have gone through some significant changes in the past few years, so we feel that this conference is "a time for renewal." We want you to join us in Fairbanks to be refreshed, rejuvenated, and renewed!
By that, we mean...whatever you want it to mean! It is certainly not a requirement, but we challenge you to submit a session idea that explores some kind of aspect of renewal, such as:




  • Managing Change in Local Government


  • Refreshing Workplace Development


  • Developing New Program Ideas


  • Re-discovering a Lost Passion/Hobby


  • Making the Old New Again


  • Environmental Rehabilitation


  • Recycling/Sustainability Measures


  • So Much More!




As parks & recreation professionals in Alaska, we have a wealth of information and practical experience that NEEDS to be shared with each other, and the Annual Conference is one of the best ways to do that, BUT WE NEED YOU!
Submit your proposal and, if accepted, you will receive $100 off of Conference Registration. If you are selected to present two or more sessions, you will receive a full conference registration for free (travel, lodging, food, etc. not included).

Conference dates are Tuesday, October 8- Thursday, October 10, 2019.

To be eligible for complimentary conference registration you must submit your proposal by Friday, August 16th, by 5:00 p.m.

DEADLINE EXTENDED! All submissions MUST be received by Monday morning, August 26th.
